Paul Fryer at Pertwee Anderson & Gold

We attempted to see this show last week but turned up too early – they don’t open till 11.00. But I’m glad we made the effort to try again this week.

I like this gallery, always pleasant & helpfull and providing interesting shows – this one fits in nicely, although I wasn’t sure what to expect after viewing the neon light installation at the door (somehow neon doesn’t do much for me). As you pass through the maze of dimly lit rooms there are great, mind-boggling things to see – I defy anyone not to be fascinated by the spinning cup of tea/coffee on the table downstairs, or try to figure out how the photo-based imagery glows and changes as you walk around them. But my favourite thing is in the small room downstairs – but for that you need to visit!

Here’s a short video preview of the show
